Requirements
We are currently seeking a high caliber Electrical Engineer to work on a contract basis for Duration. Based in Location, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Mining and Oil & Gas sector.
Job Description:
• Electrical design responsibilities & technical management of assigned projects.
• Defining project requirements & scoping work.
• Preparing design criteria and equipment specifications.
• Preparing technical bid evaluations and procurement requisitions.
• Developing overall electrical single line drawings.
• Performing engineering calculations and power system studies.
Job Requirements
• Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Good English Communication skills and the ability to build relationships
• Knowledge of project Management and Engineering tools and systems
· Familiarity with IEC, API and NEC/CEC standards and their applications
· University degree in applied sciences or engineering (Electrical)
Qualificatations
• Candidates must have a degree in engineering, and be eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA BC. Preference will be given to candidates with Electrical Engineering experience in Mining or Oil & Gas.
