Requirements
We are currently seeking a high caliber Electrical Designer to work on a contract basis. Based in VAncouver, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.
Job Description:
• Preparation and execution of the design & drawings for assigned projects.
• Lighting calculations using manufacturer software.
• Prepare tray fill calculations based on the major electrical codes.
• Heat tracing calculations using manufacturer software.
• Preparing procurement requisitions and material take off from drawings.
• Good English Communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Familiarity with CEC, NEC and IEC standards and their applications
Job Requirements
• 5 years experience minimum
• Good English Communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Familiarity with CEC, NEC and IEC standards and their applications
• AutoCAD and or Micro Station drafting experience (Micro Station is our preferred platform).
• Technical College diploma in Engineering Technology Expertise in Electrical design
