Overview

The Facility Planning Analyst plans, organizes and coordinates the physical operations of enterprise-wide owned and leased office facilities and property; coordinates office moves, new construction and alterations; serves as primary liaison with landlords; and provides feedback on performance of contract service providers.

Job Description

• Tracks lease expiration dates, performs lease versus buy analyses and makes recommendations to supervisor.
• Plans and schedules office moves, maintenance and janitorial services.
• Develops, monitors and manages facilities budgets.
• Codes and approves invoices.
• Maintains facilities-related records such as leases, vendor contracts, warranties, maintenance agreements, etc., in accordance with approved Company record retention guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies.
• Schedules preventive/routine maintenance on backup power equipment.
• Keeps floor plans/workstation assignments current using AutoCad computer software.
• Seeks opportunities for vendor consolidation.
• Oversees general office vendors such as regular and express mail delivery, office supplies, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• At least six years of closely related experience.
• Ability to travel, including overnights, up to 25%.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and AutoCad.
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Intermediate level of analytical and quantitative skills.
• Attention to detail.
