This position is one of a four-person Land Property/Contracts Administration Team. The successful candidate will be teamed with a [Company] Land Negotiator to provide land contract and property administration support for a specific geographic area.
 
Job Dimensions:
Duties include drafting of joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, maintenance of land system records for contracts, liaison and correspondence with the Government and External Companies on issues impacting the subject lands as well as query resolution for audits and third party disputes. This position will train and mentor junior staff and/or other senior staff about topics in their area of expertise (e.g. Alberta, B.C or Federal regulations, contracts and procedures, land systems integration with financial systems, etc.) and will also be a key contract for land issues within BP for the geographic area of responsibility.
 
Accountabilities:
In addition to the dimensions discussed above,specific duties include:
 
·         Prepare basic information for Deals
·         Input new contracts into the Q-byte Land System & maintain data for existing contracts
·         Create and follow up on contract obligations (includes obligation reports)
·         Process contract related documentations
·         Input wells into Q-byte & follow-up on cost centers
 
Experience:
More than 5 years experience in Land Contract Administration, particularly in drafting joint operating agreements and updating land systems
 
Education/Certifications:
A certificate or diploma in land contract administration is beneficial
