Job Description
- The Senior Engineer shall support the rest of the team with System engineering tasks and understanding such that [Employer] solution is competive and preferred by the client.
- Ensure that systems engineering is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with procedures and standards on the project or study that he or she is seconded to.
- This will include FEED studies/ Tender work to optimize the drilling, operation and maintenance programs to develop optimized field layouts and system solutions.
- Optimize the selection of products and systems to minimize the impact on our supply chain and manufacturing process to enable profitable execution.
- Utilize general knowledge of subsea production systems and needs to understand the basic skills in Field Evaluation and Concept selection.
- Maintain customer focus, both internal and external.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year experience in subsea projects and study work, or Bsc/ BEng/ HND/ HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous product design experience (minimum of 1 year) in Oilfield Drilling Equipment and/ or Production Equipment.
Desired
- Knowledge and understanding of other related systems engineering skills such as Factory Acceptance Procedures, Safety and Environmental Controls.
- Proven track record of interface management.
- Adequate presentation and written skills to enable clear and concise delivery of information to staff, customers, contractors and supervisors.
- Demonstrated team work abilities.
