Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Lead, the Production Accounting Department within Financial Services has an immediate opening for a PA Support Analyst (s). One of more positions will be filled from this posting.
Duties will include:
To provide production accounting support for the production accounting department. The key deliverables include:
· Co-locate with the individual PA team, providing technical system and general Production Accounting advice.
· Provide assistance with fixed data, DOI, allocations, freehold and overriding royalty setups, market master setups, AR washing, and financial interfaces.
· Master table maintenance.
· Provide assistance with Registry submissions.
· Understand operational changes and assess impact on production accounting system.
Basic/Required Qualifications
Ideally, you have post-secondary accounting education, CAPPA certification and 6 to 8 years of oil and gas experience as well as 6 or more years of production/revenue accounting experience with both oil and gas operated properties. Strong working knowledge of PRISM as well as SAP Financial (R3 reporting and Business Intelligence) is required along with strong analytical skills (FDC, volumetrics, financial analysis, property configurations) and strong technical skills around volumetric allocations, revenue bookings, and financial interfaces. This will compliment your strong desire to learn and grow within an environment of growth and change.
You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize your work logically in this deadline driven environment. You are analytical and have the capacity to pursue issues and resolve them independently, while working and having fun within a team.
