Job Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with key participants in the ERCOT market by promoting Occidental Power Services, Inc (“OPSI”) as a dependable provider of products and services.
- Formulate and execute business development initiates directed at OPSI’s long-term growth in the ERCOT market.
- Identify potential power marketing opportunities with load serving utilities, municipal electric co-operatives, generators, retail electricity providers and other power marketers.
- Ability to work in a team setting with other members of the Oxy organization to develop a portfolio of power commodity products and services that enable OPSI to monetize value consistent with risk/reward appetite of Oxy.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-10 years experience in power marketing transactions with at least 2 years proven performance within the ERCOT region.
- 4-year college degree
- Experience in managing large client accounts at senior management levels.
- Must be self-directed with ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Ability to develop and present formal presentations to internal and external management groups.
- Proficiency in the use of computers is required.
- Some travel may be required
