Job Description
Provide World Wide Engineering functional guidance and support as the Facilities Engineering Manager located in Houston, TX. Position will be responsible for performing the following:
- Manage a group of facilities discipline engineers who support business units by responding to facilities engineering requests, questions, etc.; participating in peer reviews; preparing scoping cost and schedule estimates; and occasionally supervising engineering firms performance of conceptual engineering studies;
- Provide functional personnel management oversight for all facilities engineers with regard to consistency and fairness of EOP, salary, bonus awards, development, PetroSkills training, advancement, placement, and relocation;
- Coordinate peer reviews requested by the business units;
- Coordinate and develop corporate functional specifications;
- Monitor and develop technology awareness;
- Participate and have functional responsibility for the PSAT initiative;
- Develop and sponsor relevant Communities of Practice for facilities engineering.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- 15+ years in related oil and gas engineering area
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent personnel management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Familiarity with facilities engineering software and cost estimating software
