Job Description
This position will represent OEMI via interaction with clients. Duties will involve creation and distribution of monthly settlement statements and direct involvement with clients to reach agreement on monthly settlements. Other duties will include recording monthly settlement activity into the general ledger, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, resolution of AR and AP balances, and special projects as requested by management. A positive attitude and the ability to professionally interact with customers (both internal and external) is a requirement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or minimum 21 hours of accounting with a business degree
- Fundamental accounting skills: general ledger, accounts payable & receivable and account reconciliations
- Strong Excel and MS Word skills
- Above average multi-tasking, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interface with accounting and operations
- Must have initiative to meet deadlines
- Some overtime will be required
