Job Description
Reservoir Engineer within a multi-discipline reservoir management team (RMT) of geoscientists and engineers involved in the assessment and development of [Employer] operated and non-operated Piceance Basin properties in northwest Colorado, a basin-centered unconventional tight gas asset. Lead role in managing actively drilling non-operated properties, including reserves assessment, economic evaluations, partner technical interaction, business planning/forecasting and monitoring of results. Act as technical and business liaison with operating partner. Additionally, assist in reserves management and economic evaluation of capital projects for operated properties and assessment of growth opportunities.
Qualifications
• Petroleum Engineering BS Degree or higher, with a minimum of 3 years of reservoir engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply reservoir engineering techniques to identify opportunities and create value.
• Experience with reserve estimation techniques and knowledge of SEC reserves guidelines.
• Proficiency at economic evaluation and risk assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Cooperative and interactive team player.
• Demonstrated creative approach to problem solving.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to do occasional domestic travel.
