ROV Estimator
Responsible for development of technical and commercial proposals for offshore Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissions projects primarily for construction of offshore pipelines and structures.
Job Description
- Develop cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Assist Estimating Manager in evaluation of Customer Request for Tender/Bid/Quotation documents.
- Identifies and understands customer requirements for bid purposes.
- Coordinates bid inputs from Operations, Engineering, Welding, Legal, Purchasing, Taxation, Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management departments.
- Coordinates with subcontractors to receive input on pricing on labor, materials and other costs.
- Assists Estimating Manager in obtaining management approval on estimates prior to submission of tender/proposal to client.
- Attends bid meetings to act as a resource for project team and client.
- Enters proposals/tenders into Global Star database for cost tracking and historical information.
- Serves as a liaison for Project Management when a bid/tender is awarded and becomes a job.
- Markets the company’s services to existing and potential clients.
- Supports Sr. Estimator and Estimating Manager through the creation of spreadsheets and other information for bids.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
