Overview
- The Vice President, Investor Relations reports to the President and Chief Financial Officer.
- The candidate will provide advice and feedback to executive management on industry trends, shareholder concerns and competitor actions that might impact the Company. The candidate must be familiar with regulation FD, Fair Disclosure.
- The candidate will draft press releases, prepare conference call scripts and develop investor presentations.
- The candidate must have the ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally and in writing to potential shareholders and the financial community in general.
- The position will require the candidate to develop and maintain a cohesive and coordinated communication program with analysts and the investment community on a proactive basis, participate in industry conferences, organize and participate in road shows, and assist with the preparation and release of the Annual Report and quarterly financial information.
- Travel, including occasional international travel, is involved.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or business is required, and an MBA is highly preferable.
- Outstanding analytical skills required to understand the Company’s financial results, and complex stock transactions.
- Candidate should have at least 10+ years of progressively responsible investor relations experience, preferably within the oil and gas service industry.
- Experience working with multi-national public companies that are experiencing significant growth is also preferred.
