Overview
In this position, the Project Engineer / Operations Engineer will work in conjunction with Field Engineers, Project Managers and the rest of the Global project team to ensure that project operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings, monitoring technical tables and providing a technical package to our clients at the end of the project. In order to accomplish this, you will manage design work and visit fabrication sites in order to monitor subcontractor work and ensure that all specifications are being met. In addition, you will also be responsible for logistics, payroll, vendor maintenance, and the ordering of materials to complete the project.
The Project Engineer / Operations Engineer will assist in barge rig-ups, coordinate structural and pipeline installations, prepare post-job analysis and coordinate the fabrication or assembly of installation aids.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position should have 2 to 3 years of offshore experience, a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Systems or Construction Management and the ability to travel internationally from 30 to 40%.
