Description
You will be responsible for providing a wide range of financial and operations support including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will have the opportunity to participate in our professional accounting development program. You will build your career through challenging work assignments that will enhance your knowledge and gain exposure to key areas of the company.
Responsibilities
- Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Preparation of general rate applications and other regulatory reporting.
- Reviewing operating processes, recommending and implementing improvements to accounting procedures, providing advice on various accounting and financial systems, and submitting reports as required.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA). Candidates who are actively pursuing a designation will be considered for an Analyst level position.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience with internal control procedures and regulatory processes.
- Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Experience working with Oracle desired.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines.
