Responsibilities:
Define the CDM project, to form the basis for its assessment and to implement the State’s HSE regulations.
Review the criteria and methodology used for setting planning zones and for “calling in” planning applications.
Codify the HSE’s advice on chemical major hazards so that accurate advice can be given without detailed individual assessment of planning applications.
Prepare CDM Project Initiation Document (PID) which defines the project and forms the basis for its management and the assessment of overall success.
It maximizes the chances of the project results at the right time and emission reductions.
Carry out project studies aimed at developing national capacity and technology transfer in the field of HSE and carbon management trading.
Carry out project studies in relation to energy management and efficiency in cooperation with the energy industry and energy end-users.
Monitor international CDM projects and related CERs market toward optimizing corporate project strategies and planning.
Establish strategic programs directed toward optimizing the department HSE projects planning.
Assist the department management in Projects evaluation, assessment and planning.
Coordinate with project participant all aspects of your project plans.
Coordinate with the Specialist Project Initiation on required Projects information and development.
Maintain strict confidentiality and ethics on all conducted HSE project studies.
Liaise with the department management to ensure that HSE project planning is in full compliance with QP’s Policies and procedures.
Requirements:
(12-15 years) extensive experience and knowledge of strategic issues related to the Energy Sector.
Extensive knowledge of Oil & Gas industry HSE critical issues and implications on the business.
Knowledge and experience related to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change and Kyoto Protocol as well as the Clean Development Mechanism
process and procedures.
Highly developed analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
Engineering Discipline plus formal training in computer operations.
