Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Reporting to the Applications Manager, responsible for providing technical sales support for [Company] Compression equipment.
 
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.
 
·         Perform site inspection of customer compression assets to determine customer needs.
·         Day-to-day communication with [Company] customers and internal [Company] business units to build and maintain business relationships.
·         Work with regional sales staff to present proposals and quotation to customers, reviewing technical and commercial issues and ultimately help secure contracts.
·         Perform technical design and be responsible for the preparation of custom proposals for the revamp/retrofit of existing compressor packages for domestic and international clients.
·         Run compressor performance using OEM software (Ariel, Dresser-Rand, Superior, Ajax, etc.) and size process system components.
·         Evaluate existing equipment for reuse and recommend changes / modifications to suit application specific requirements.
·         Work with sales staff to evaluate regional customer opportunities, potential equipment requirements and confirm appropriate [Company] sales strategy.
·         Other duties and projects as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
 
·         Engineering degree or experience in engineering technology with 3-4 years of experience in a compressor manufacturing or energy services sector
·         Excellent technical skills with strong track record of successfully resolving technical problems
·         Capable of managing time and priorities; operates well under pressure
·         Strong customer service orientation; the ability to maintain solid customer relationships with a profit focus
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
·         Highly self motivated and goal oriented
·         Team oriented with the ability to work closely with all levels of management and branch departments
·         Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
·         Requires flexible schedule to accommodate customer demands
·         Field travel is expected
