As the successful candidate for this position you will provide flow computer support throughout [Company] organization. Assist in evaluating current and possible new flow computer solutions.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for ongoing maintenance, support and upgrades to the flow computer systems currently operating throughout the [Company] system.
· Responsible for providing assistance in evaluating the future direction and development of flow computing systems at [Company].
· Member of cross functional project teams involved in the enhancements to the flow computer and related systems and processes that use the flow system data.
· Perform detailed system configuration and related programming/evaluation for new facilities and other upgrade and maintenance related projects.
· Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of all related systems to ensure compliance with Company standards and industry practices.
· Member of support team to provide 24/7 on-call flow computer support.
· Monitor electronic ticketing database for accuracy to ensure oil accounting mid-month and month-end processes are accurate.
· Provide immediate resolution to invalid electronic tickets.
· Assist in supporting electronic ticketing system.
· Provide assistance in ensuring all flow computing systems are in compliance with API (external) and SOx (internal).
Qualifications
· Technical diploma or degree with related experience combined with extensive familiarity of related control systems.
· Previous exposure to flow computer systems definitely as asset.
· Excellent oral and written communications.
· Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
