Individuals at this level perform Division Order functions within assigned areas with general supervision. Responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of record title ownership of producing properties in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Individual is responsible to see that quality standards are met.
Job Description:
Continues to develop, broaden and utilize technical skills to create and maintain the record title ownership of producing properties in a specific geographic area, and calculate ownership divisions of interest for those properties. *
Detailed analysis of leases, farmout agreements, title opinions, operating agreements and other contracts and legal documents to determine the record title ownership division of interests. Prepares the record title ownership spreadsheets and sets up the master ownership decks for use in the revenue accounting system. Notify Revenue Accounting to pay and/or suspense owners as appropriate.*
Retain and supervise approved outside title attorneys for completions of division order title opinions and coordinate the curative of the applicable title requirements. Review title opinions for errors
