The EHS Representative, Office Safety position is a entry level EHS professional position within the Corporate EHS department. Work is closely supervised by the Corporate EHS Supervisor for Health and Safety to ensure regulatory and quality standards are met for the [Location] and loffices and Records Centers.
Performs routine assignments requiring knowledge of basic safety principles, theories and concepts. Assists Corporate EHS Supervisor, Health and Safety to address safety and health related issues as directed with primary focus being EHS risk mitigation and control support to office personnel.
Job Description:
· Assists in developing, gathering & maintaining office safety and health data for routine reports, metrics and regulatory documents;
· Support the ongoing development & implementation of Office Safety programs in the [Location] and Houston offices and [Location] Records Centers;
· Develop and deliver monthly office & general safety topics related to the office work environment;
· Review and support for EHS related incidents for the [Location] offices & Records Centers;
· Maintain all EHS communications and postings at the office locations;
· Conduct safety, ergonomic and manual handling hazard assessments for the above mentioned locations;
· Review and provide support for management of office waste and assist with regulatory requirements of shipping and receiving hazardous materials;
· Provide EHS support for Corporate employees traveling to field locations;
· Be familiar with and research regulatory requirements as needed; and
· Conduct office and new-hire training for the [Location] offices and Records Centers.
Job Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required,
· BS degree in EHS related field with safety and health experience preferred;
· Excellent presentation skills and oral and written communications skills required;
· Must possess high-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint);
· Requires ability to interact with wide range of company personnel;
· Ability to travel, including over night stays (approximately 25-50% travel, mostly to[Location] )
