· Responsible for land management within defined area of responsibility in the Western Division covering all aspects of oil and gas exploration and production
Job Description:
· Acquires, maintains, and prepares properties for drilling, recompletions, reworks and P&A.
· Coordinates activities connected with property through the life of the property.
· Fields inquires for mineral owners and working interest partners.
· Heavy contact position (both internal and external) on legal issues, regulatory matters, exploration and production issues, gas marketing and lease record/division order arrangements.
· Interacts with other disciplines in a team environment to accomplish company goals
· Assist in property sales and acquisitions as requested
· Prepares and negotiates appropriate contracts and agreements to facilitate Division strategies
· Represents the company’s interest at industry and partner meetings
· Coordinates through the State and Federal Regulatory agencies all exploration and production issues to facilitate company production goals
Job Requirements:
· 10+ years experience as Petroleum Landman with either or a Major and/or Independent Oil & Gas Company.
· BS/BA or advanced degree in Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, Law or related discipline.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are imperative, with the ability to make presentations to management.
