The primary objective of the SALES REPRESENTATIVE is to sell and promote our client's equipment to their clients in the Oil & gas; Drilling and loading for data acquisition; Seismic; Residential & commercial development; Pipeline Forestry; Government & municipalities; Utilities; Road construction and Nature trail development. You will be committed to innovating and promoting better technologies within the industry and staying one step ahead of the market demand.
The SALES REPRESENTATIVE will sell our clients equipment working with a broad range of clients, at levels ranging from corporate presidents to construction site managers, providing excitement and diversity to this exciting career opportunity.
The nature and scope of the role include, but are not limited to:
-Determining market strategy by evaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers? technical & construction/maintenance needs;
-Following up on sales leads and making cold calls on potential customers;
-Working management and staff to establish a communication path with the customer;
-Developing and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner;
-Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on products & services;
-Making presentations to building owners, purchasing managers, general contractors and other industry groups;
-Meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals;
The desired candidate will have a successful sales background. A candidate with construction, industrial, mining or forestry equipment sales experience is a definite asset. Excellent oral and written communications skills, an outgoing personality, interest in being a team player, and a desire to sell are all key aspects to the successful candidate. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
Travel is required.
