Supervise and train Company and contract personnel to maximize Oil & Gas production in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Coordinate all production operations activities including purchasing, logistics and maintenance in an efficient manner.
Maintain LTO (license to operate) for the Oooguruk unit with regard to Federal, State of Alaska, Safety and Environmental regulations. Verify personnel performing work at the Oooguruk facility are qualified in OSHA CFR 1910.119 PSM (process safety management), and permanent onsite personnel are certified in PSM.
Assure accuracy of metering and allocation systems, and methodologies. Perform safety and performance evaluations of onsite personnel.
A High School diploma or equivalent certification is required; college degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years Oil & Gas industry experience including some cold weather environment operating experience and production and pipeline operations and equipment experience is required.
Candidate must have “hands on” supervisory expertise in oil well production and maintenance, metering, compression, freeze protection, waste disposal, down-hole injection, facilities design and construction, Alaska regulations, safety and environmental considerations.
Knowledge of down-hole operations and equipment, “hands on” experience in logistics and supply management, knowledge of State and Federal Oil & Gas regulations, and OSHA PSM Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, and must be able to certify under OSHA CFR 1910.119 PSM. Must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule on the [Location] and be self-directed, as the position will be a remote assignment
