Job Description
 
  • This HR leadership role is a critical position within the Global [Employer] Manufacturing organisation. Reporting directly to the Global HR Leader of [Employer] Manufacturing, you will drive Manufacturing HR Initiatives across the globe (13 plants, ~2,000 employees). Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Lead the implementation and rollout of selected HR initiatives - e.g. analysis and action planning process of the [Employer] Opinion Survey for VetcoGray Manufacturing, including progress tracking across the organisation.
  • Lead all staffing & recruiting processes across the organisation, including: internal talent sharing, talent pipeline development, hiring & interview training and compliance. Actively supervise on-boarding processes and ensure the 'positive candidate experience'.
  • Drive early talent identification and talent acquisition initiatives such as the implementation of the OMLP program, and the rollout of a structured Internship/Apprenticeship program for Manufacturing.
  • Work with Plant HRMs to lead and initiate innovative global HR practices to create strong culture of leaders and high performing teams. Maximize organizational effectiveness and assist business growth.
  • Represent the HR function on the Manufacturing team to help drive manufacturing cost-out initiatives.
  • Provide the organizational structure and design expertise ensuring cross-country consistency and synergy.
  • Actively provide HR support to North & South America Manufacturing COE Leaders.
  • Work with business manufacturing HRMs and global manufacturing leaders across [Employer] to align HR strategies with the manufacturing direction to deliver impact to [Employer].
  • Develop personal rapport and connection with key manufacturing talent globally.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Degree qualified in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5+ years of HR Generalist experience with 3+ years of HR leadership in a multinational, high technology, complex environment.
