[Company] requires an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individual to join our Human Resources team in this fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly growing organization, reporting to the Director Human Resources.
Position description:
As an integral member of the human resources team, you will work in partnership with colleagues, corporate teams and your client groups to identify issues and opportunities where HR can influence and positively impact business performance, and develop and/or implement high quality HR strategies, programs and solutions that contribute to the overall success of the organization and enhance effectiveness. This position is focused on delivering solutions that support business plans through active participation, consulting and facilitating, while respecting corporate vision, ethics, policies and practices and meeting measures of operational excellence.
You will also deliver specialist expertise and ensure continuous improvement and overall program management of our performance management processes and systems. You will have a collaborative working style to assist with the growth and development of our Human Resources team; and provide direction and feedback on operational responsibilities within the team. You will also be involved in developing, maintaining and reducing required reports, records and statistics.
Qualifications:
- Related degree with seven to ten years of broad-based experience in a human resources consulting role, ideally gained working with field based employees in field gathering & processing, extraction and/or transmission industry operations.
- Experience in a unionized environment and possession of a professional HR designation are considered assets.
- Well versed in a number of HR functional competencies and best practices, including emerging trends and issues in the areas of organizational effectiveness and employee relations.
- Strong sense of urgency to achieve results.
- Experience handling a broad range of Employee Relations matters and taking a due diligence approach to ensure that the company is in compliance with statutory obligations under employment-related legislation.
- Solid experience developing and implementing performance management systems, strategies and programs with organizations and providing guidance to frontline managers.

- focuses on the “big picture”, but has a clear understanding and appreciation of the details and complexities associated with the design and implementation of human resource strategies

- has strong technical and computer skills, including HR systems
- is a levelheaded team player with superior interpersonal, communication, judgment, analytical and problem solving skills.
