To provide leadership and support for the financial and volumetric accounting and reporting requirements of the FG&P operating segment. Provide the highest quality of financial reporting and analysis for internal and external decision makers. This will be accomplished through supporting appropriate levels of internal control, teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the monthly & quarterly internal and external financial reporting activities for the FG&P operating segment.
- Report & analyze financial & non-financial results against budget & outlook.
- Provide the financial analysis required by FG&P segment and assist the business unit with meeting their objectives.
- Identify and facilitate improvements to processes to reflect changing business needs and environment.
- Promote interdepartmental relationships between operations accounting, corporate accounting, internal audit, operations, investor relations and information systems.
Qualifications:
- Accounting designation; CA, CMA, or CGA
- Strong financial accountant with internal control application experience with a minimum 5 years industry related experience
- Financial reporting and analytical experience
- Analytical skills demonstrating attention to detail with overall view of the larger picture.
- Strong business and accounting skills along with the ability to apply these specific business problems and make useful recommendations
- Team player & motivator, adapting well to change as well as being a change agent
- Strong communication skills
