This role will be responsible for supporting software specific to drilling operations, drilling engineering and well maintenance. The primary area of support will be Peloton’s suite of applications (Wellview)
· Communication skills are critical as this position interacts closely with business partners and developers while gathering requirements, designing, testing, implementing and supporting solutions.
· Must be familiar with Peloton’s Wellview suite of products
· Acts as an expert technical resource to drilling and production operations in all phases of the implementation, development and support of the Wellview drilling software suite.
· Interfaces with business users to ensure that implemented solutions satisfy business requirements and are delivered in a timely manner.
· Responsible for source system analysis and analyzing required data transformations for building system interfaces.
· Troubleshoots complex application problems and works with product vendors as necessary.
Job Requirements:
· Strong knowledge/expertise in Telecommunications and Networks
· Application Administration and Support experience preferred as well as WellView and DIMS experience, but will train.
· Working knowledge of DBA, WINTEL and UNIX
· Working knowledge of Service Tickets and Change Control
· Working knowledge of Visio for Diagram Maintenance
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work as a team player.
· Self-starter with the ability to work without daily supervision.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Skilled in multitasking and providing premier support to business users.
· Able to provide mentorship and coaching to other team members.
· Demonstrates the desire and ability to learn and utilize new technologies
