Overview A National Wholesale Distributor with 5 business units located throughout the US market is looking for a Staff Accountant to work in their corporate office in Southwest Houston.
Responsibilities
The candidate selected for this role will perform all general accounting duties with a focus in the following areas:
· General Ledger
· Journal entries
· Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements
· Assisting with Month end
· Inventory Analysis and Cost control
· Cost accounting
Requirements
· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required
· 2-4 years experience general accounting with a public company preferred
· Experience working in Distribution or Manufacturing environment a plus
· Experience in work with multiple subsidiaries or business units preferred
· Experience in working with AS 400 Platforms
· Strong MS Excel skills a must
· Compensation 45-50K
