[Company] Income Trust is one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing integrated energy infrastructure and services organizations.  The Trust creates value by acquiring, growing and optimizing gas and power infrastructure, including a focus on renewable energy sources.  Since 1994, [Company] Income Trust has expanded its business to include natural gas gathering and processing, extraction of ethane and natural gas liquids, transmission, wholesale sale of power from its gas-fired generation and power purchase-based arrangements, natural gas and natural gas liquids, as well as retail energy services to commercial, industrial and institutional end-users across Canada.
 
[Company] requires an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team, reporting directly to the Divisional Vice President Field Gathering and Processing Operations.  The Director Technical Services supervises the Land, Facility Integrity, Engineering and Construction, and Rotating Equipment departments to ensure the smooth operation of our operating segments.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage [Company] small capital construction project group
  • Develop cost effective and regulatory compliant preventative maintenance programs for compressors, pressure equipment, and pipelines
  • Minimize environmental impact and ensure safety of stakeholders through facility integrity and land use management programs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering coupled with a Designation as a Professional Engineer recognized by APEGGA
  • 10 + years experience in natural gas facility design, construction and operations
  • Broad technical knowledge
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Strong organizational skills with proven success working on multiple priorities
  • Project management training and experience considered an asset
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Self starter with a proactive approach
