The successful candidates will have a background in the following:
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD from an accredited university in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering
- Obtained P.Eng or eligible for registration in province of employment
- A minimum of 3 years of geotechnical consulting experience
- Understanding and experience in one of the following areas:
•tailings management and water management, including running tailings mass flow models and water balances
•Foundation Engineering
•Geological Engineering
- Experience in the oil sands will be considered an asset
- Affiliations with CGS, CDA or CIM considered an asset
- Knowledge of LDD or Surpac Minesight programs is an asset
As the ideal candidate you will have excellent oral and written communication skills & good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will be a leader with demonstrated skills to be a team player and have client service abilities to meet deliverables on time and on budget
