[Company] Winnipeg Health, Safety and Environment department has experience exceptional growth and is currently recruiting qualified technologists and professionals in the hygiene discipline with strong backgrounds in hazardous materials assessment and abatement, indoor air quality assessment and/or occupational monitoring. You will be part of a diverse and well respected team of professionals and technologists with the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects. While stationed in Winnipeg, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with other hygienists and OH&S professionals throughout AMEC, in Canada and abroad.

The duties of the personnel may include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct worker exposure assessments.
- Conduct monitoring for physical, chemical and biological parameters.
- Conduct hazardous materials, mould and indoor quality assessments.
- Assist in AMEC’s internal health and safety program.
- Manage projects from proposal stage through to completion including budgeting, staff and resources allocation, invoicing and client relations.
- Complete and review reports and other project correspondence.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of training programs.
- Business development and client management.
Qualifications Include:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in the occupational hygiene or environmental health and safety field.
- Preference will be given to those designated as CIH or ROH or who is actively working towards certification.
- Initiative enthusiasm and commitment to technical excellence.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
