RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct worker exposure assessments.
- Conduct monitoring for physical, chemical and biological parameters.
- Conduct hazardous materials, mould and indoor quality assessments.
- Manage projects from proposal stage through to completion including budgeting, staff and resources allocation, invoicing and client relations.
- Complete and review reports and other project correspondence.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of training programs.
- Business development and client management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The successful candidates will have a B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Hygiene, or in a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Ideally, candidates will possess, or be eligible for professional certification such as a R.O.H., C.I.H., and/or CRSP.
- Experience ina an environmental health and safety consulting firm is required. The successful candidates must have demonstrated ability in managing and mentoring professional occupational hygienists, and safety specialists engaged in investigations of hazardous materials, mould and indoor quality assessments in diverse occupational environments.
- In addition, the candidates must have the ability to act independently, be computer proficient and have excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills.
