Job Description
Position Summary:
The Business Analyst/Consultant will work as part of the sales and business consulting team to ensure that a comprehensive account strategy, cohesive plan, and action program is developed; and executed for the Upstream Petroleum Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Clearly articulate value proposition in presentations and demo’s to potential customers and clients
· Establish, support and enhance client/prospect contacts and relationships to create and expand the revenue-based pipeline of opportunities
· Build and deliver case studies and workshop cases as required by the sales process
· Clearly articulate value proposition in presentation materials
· Communicate with key internal stakeholders on business issues
· Develop domain sales/marketing material required to communicate value proposition to end customers
· Coordinate with the Account Manager on developing short-term & long-term strategy for assigned accounts.
· Provide creative, “out of the box”, ideas for generating and expanding opportunities within 3esi accounts
· Develop and lead the execution of campaigns targeted at specific Upstream products and/or solutions
· Provide business process consulting, training, coaching and/or customer support to end customers on as needed basis
· Complete data loading and data analysis of customer data during discovery phase of the implementation process
Key Competencies:
· Extensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas business and work processes
· Excellent communication skills, and the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels of management
· Ability to meet with customer-prospects and advance a sales cycle with competence
· Results Oriented
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years professional experience in oil and gas industry with knowledge of industry processes and data requirements
· Experience with oil&gas software technology industry solutions (commercial or ad-hoc solutions)
· Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent education
· Previous experience with budgeting, well execution or program management processes will be beneficial
