Responsibilities:
Instrumentation & Control / Electrical engineering expertise for the FEED and Detail design phase, review of project specification and detailed design associated with all electrical and control & automation systems.
Peer level interface with other projects in instrumentation and control matters to ensure lessons learnt, life cycle analysis and other are incorporated into the project specifications and detailed design
Interfacing with the Technical Advisors on relevant matters.
Appropriate information transfer and assistance to site Instrument engineer/s involved in construction and commissioning
Coordinating resolution of issues relating to the use of Engineering standards and codes, in a manner to meet the project objectives.
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders through appropriate focal points.
Support relationship between the Main Automation and Electrical Contractor and the Main Contractor and manage relevant interfaces.
Demonstration and excellence in behaviour with regard to HSE.
Requirements:
These positions require tertiary qualifications in a relevent engineering discipline.
In addition, candidates must have extensive relevant experience, the majority of which should have been spent at an engineer level in the oil and gas industry or other complex processing facilties projects.
Candidates are expected to be motivated, customer driven, and have a proven track record in delivering to targets. In addition, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong leadership and performance management skills combined with a committed team approach are fundamental for success.
