Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
· Work directly with customers to plan and execute assigned contracts.
· Act as primary customer/GE contact for all matters related to the contract.
· Coordinate outage activities and facilitate response to technical inquires.
· Drive operational and maintenance improvements and system optimization.
· Develop strong working relationships within customer and GE organizations.
· Coordinate submittal and implementation of technical recommendations.
· Lead resolution of equipment operational deviations.
· Manage unplanned events to minimize downtime and maximize customer output.
· Achieve the financial operating plan.
· Accurately forecast financials including sales, margin, costs, and billing.
· Execute financial review process including data collection, documentation preparation and formal presentation.
· Drive growth through implementation of scope beyond the contract .
· Schedule/coordinate internal and external suppliers to provide field services, parts, asset management, repair services and upgrades.
· Coordinate issuance of invoices and ensure payments.
· Manage logistics of parts and equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aero or Electrical preferred).
· Fluent in spoken and written English.
· Minimum of five years of technical project management experience.
· Knowledge of turbomachinery (Aero Derivative/Power Turbines & Compressors).
· Demonstrated communication, organizational and facilitation skills.
· Proficiency with computer tools especially Microsoft office and Outlook.
· Strong financial/business management skills.
· Experience performing to a financial operating plan.
· Ability to work in a global environment/cultural awareness.
· Direct customer interface experience (Sales or Services).
· Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
· Ability to work with all organizational levels and functions.
Desired:
· Fluent in spoken and written Italian.
· Existing relationships within GE Aero Energy and GE Oil Gas.
· GE Contractual Services management experience.
· Masters Degree in Business.
· Successful P&L management experience including forecasting sales and margin.
· Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
· Knowledge of/experience with Lean processes.
· Experience with operation/maintenance of power generation plants.
· Positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
