Overview
Successful candidate will support the Piceance Basin Asset Team by providing reservoir engineering analysis for project development, field performance, reservoir analysis, and managing critical external relationships. This position is in a highly interactive team environment focused around the implementation of an aggressive tight gas development plan. The position involves teamwork with geoscientists, Technology Services, land, planning group, and D&C.
- Update and maintain the Piceance Plan of Development incorporating factors such as the latest subsurface understanding, permitting issues, construction issues, etc
- Work with [Employer] to evaluate data downhole pressure monitoring project. Continue work in progress to expand relationship to include other data sharing and technical evaluations
- Build, support, & make decisions from reservoir/ geologic model coordinating with consultants and tech services group on data integration, interpretation, & sensitivities
- Lead reservoir simulation efforts aimed to better understand subsurface uncertainties to improve well placement and development density
- Work with Business Development and Land to identify future expansions, swaps, etc in basin and calculate reserves and production forecasts, perform economic evaluations, participate in data room evaluations.
