Candidates should have a strong technical background. Ideally, the experience should include work on heavy industrial projects such as power supply facilities, mining facilities, large petrochemical plants and refineries, as well as oil and gas production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/take ownership of the constructability log
- Follow-up with project engineers, managers, ACM's, etc to record progress on log item actions
- Enter updates to the constructability logs
- Attend and participate in constructability meetings
- Record constructability meeting minutes and track suggestions to the constructability log
- Provide feedback/thank-you cards (electronic and hardcopy) to stakeholders that provide constructability suggestions
- Complete scrubs of the constructability log, prioritize and arrange reviews
- Participate in the development and implementation of the constructability program for detailed design
- Support to the Human Factors Lead
- Schedule/organize formal constructability reviews
Qualifications:
- Construction experience
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Senior level computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Generalists' understanding of oil sands detailed design and construction activities
- Excellent reading and writing skills
Educational Requirements:
- University degree, technical degree or experienced trades person
Pay rates will be based on experience and current market standards.
