Responsibilities:
Executing and adherence to site management procedures (HSE, quality, etc).
Reviewing drawings/specifications, preservation requirements, storage requirements, and testing and commissioning procedures.
Verifying/witnessing the installation, testing and commissioning of equipment to project specifications, to include cable trays, cable pulling, wiring, glanding, terminations, continuity checks, etc.
Verifying/witnessing the state of completion for cable schedules, E&I schematics, etc.
Verifying class of equipment to area classification.
Monitoring compliance of installation to drawings and specifications.
Gathering installation and calibration records, as necessary.
Preparing or reviewing for completeness a list of electrical and instrumentation items for inclusion in the final punch list.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in the installation and inspection and testing of E&I systems in the offshore industry.
Hands on experience with commissioning activities.
Strong English and Documentation skills, including competent computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
Electrical Codes to include IEC and IEEE Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards
National Electrical Manufacturers Association standards
National Fire Protection Association standards
Instrument Society of America recommended practices and standards
Energy Industries Council Publication CC1 P/1(Contractors Committee on Instrumentation
Instrument Installation Testing Procedure
API recommended practices
