A mechanic position responsible for supporting fellow mechanics with the maintenance and repair of natural gas processing equipment in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner as well as perform unsupervised tasks. Performs scheduled engine and compressor overhauls with minimal supervision or guidance.  
 
Job Description:
·         Learn and adhere to Devon safety rules, policies and procedures.
·         Support completion of day to day operations, routine and scheduled maintenance tasks and appropriate reports.
·         Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely and efficient manner in all kinds of weather conditions.
·         Repair and maintenance of a variety of natural gas reciprocating engines, compressor units, and associated equipment.
·         Support predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
·         Assist with inventory and warehouse control.
·         Drive company service truck and operate associated equipment.
·         Complete individual tasks with minimal supervision.
·         Support team members on engine and compressor overhauls.
·         Maintain up-to-date maintenance and regulatory files.
·         Able to lift 50 pounds
·         Able to read and understand flow schematics and piping and instrumentation drawings
·         Ability to respond to unsupervised call outs.
 
Job Requirements:
·         A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in operation and maintenance of gas compression equipment, Cat 3600 series preferred.
·         Post secondary education in the mechanical field would be a definite asset.
·         Recognized vendor training and certifications would be an asset.
·         Must have a strong commitment to safety and environmental policies.
·         Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
·         High school diploma or equivalent.
·         Team oriented, self-motivated and flexible to change.
·         Establish residence in the work area and be on call.
·         Valid driver’s license and good driving habits.
·         This position requires a good attitude and a willingness to work.
·         Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access preferred.
