Description
Production - Mildred Lake Mining and Aurora Mining are currently seeking motivated, dynamic people to operate heavy equipment in a world class mining operation that is one of the largest in the world, utilizing heavy equipment that incorporates state of the art technology. Operation of this world class heavy equipment includes: heavy hauler trucks, crawler dozers, graders, hydraulic and electric shovels as well as other heavy equipment.
Employees will have the ability to operate equipment safely, with a minimum of supervision while being able to handle multiple tasks. In keeping with our relentless pursuit of zero recordable injuries, employees are expected to visibly support and follow Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
Employees will work 12-hour shifts, days and nights, in a participative team environment. Team activities include responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day function of the team in conjunction with a high level of employee involvement in running the business.
These are permanent positions located at our Plant Site north of Fort McMurray. To assist with relocation, we offer a Relocation Program to assist permanent residency of non-local candidates.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
- 5 years operating experience on a minimum of 3 pieces of mining equipment or 8 years operating experience on general heavy equipment.
- A valid class 5 driver's license.
