Job Responsibilities
· Supervise and provide leadership to measurement technicians to insure proper measurement is achieved and the L&U gas is kept at a minimum.
· Facilities include meter locations in western Nebraska, western Kansas and northeast Colorado.
· Submit, monitor and maintain both the capital and O&M budgets related to measurement for the area of responsibility.
· Oversee the maintenance, repair, modification, design, installation, and selection of measurement facilities and equipment.
· Monitor and administer the safety, OQ program, performance testing, development and training requirements, and performance management for assigned personnel.
Educational Requirements

· Engineering or Computer science degree from a 4 year accredited college or equivalent.

· Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
· Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
· Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, and maintain strict confidentiality.
· Ability to perform the required and expected duties with little or no direct supervision.
· Must be able to effectively communicate through both oral and written methods.
· Must understand the operation of and be able to apply the AGA standards to rotary, turbine, ultrasonic and orifice measurement installations.
· Must understand the operation and testing of EFM units, transmitters, regulators, relief valves, moisture monitors, oxygen analyzers, and chromatographs.
· Good computer skills and use of Microsoft Office products.
· Knowledge of NEC and application to electrical installations for both power and control circuits.
· Experience in providing work direction to others.
· Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
· Required to carry a company-provided cell phone/pager, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
· Will work out of town nights and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
(above the minimum requirements; not required, but advantageous in this position)
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Understanding of radio, microwave and telephone communication methods.
· Strong math and algebra abilities.
· Previous experience in a supervisory position.
