Description:
An opportunity exists for a Project Manager. Our client is a leading supplier of measuring instruments and automation solutions for the industrial process engineering industry.
Prime responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work closely with product managers, sales teams, service and general manager to formulate a winning strategy for projects.
- Liaise with product centers to ensure that all technical, documentation, testing and inspection requirements are clearly understood, adhered to or taken exception too.
- Prepare project quotations and proposals in a professional manner in order to ensure a consistent and uniform company wide project submission.
- Develop and implement project quote tools to increase efficiency and uniformity as well as improve communication flow across the company world wide to have better success in international projects success.
- Understand and review the T & C requirements of consultants and ensure that company exposure to commercial risk is minimized.
- Assist and oversee the smooth execution of projects and engineered solutions so that all commitments, both technical and delivery are adequately met.
- Understand the requirements for nuclear level instrumentation licensing and assist clients with obtaining the proper documentation and approvals on an international level.
- Understand the requirements of the strategic focus industries including materials, product testing, certification, validation, documentation, etc.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary technical education, preferably in instrumentation, process control or electronics
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration would be a distinct advantage
- Good understanding of instrumentation
- Excellent understanding of instrumentation and application knowledge
- Great interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Good customer relations and presentation skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
