Key Responsibilities:
We have two openings in our District Operations to perform welding duties on natural gas pipelines under pressure in order to attach new customers and install new gas mains. You'll also fabricate stations of various sizes, repair damages and build meter stations.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- To qualify, we require that you meet the Company and Government License Requirements in down-hand manual shielded metal arc welding 3/4" to 12" diameter pipe and up-hand manual shielded metal arc welding, low hydrogen process for 1" to 12" diameter pipe.
- We also require a Grade 12 education plus prior experience in pipeline maintenance and construction.
- You must have the ability to obtain a Class D driver's license and read blueprints, and a willingness to work overtime and travel out of town as needed.
- A valid Pipeline Inspector's Certificate (or ability to obtain) is required.
