Description:
Required for our client who is a growing leader in the design, manufacturing and installation of pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete components for a variety of structures. Their products are used for both structural and architectural purposes and in a variety of applications including: bridges, stadiums, arenas, schools and parkades.
They are seeking a Quality Control (Q.C.) Inspector to be responsible for monitoring the quality of the inspection process in the plant.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible for creating a process for inspection of all products/perform quality control audits on all finished concrete products on the production floor
- Must be capable of reading company and client drawings and specifications, and
- understanding the implications of their content
- Ensure there is an inspection ratio on all products
- Responsible for all material certifications against delivery and job
- Responsible for PCI, ACI, and CSA audits
- Maintain the history records of all products going out of the plant
- Facilitate continuous improvement in Quality Control
- Analyze all “non conformances” and recommends inspection corrective action
- Comply with all company policies, safety and housekeeping requirements
- Reporting required data in an accurate and timely manner
- Support company “Quality Policy” to meet or exceed customer requirements
- Comply with the quality system and policies
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level
Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with ALL relevant CSA & ACI standards applicable to:
- Concrete Materials
- Concrete Products Manufactured
- Concrete Testing
- Demonstrate ability to be trained in new methods or procedures as required
- Must be capable of reading company and client drawings and specifications, and understanding the implications of their content.
- Stay current with new technologies and changing manufacturing requirements
