Description:
Provide On-Site Engineering Support for Instrumentation and Controls to Operations and Maintenance with the following deliverables:
- Design and drafting of engineering drawings based on notes, sketches, vendor drawings and direction from engineer.
- Route cable from field instruments through junction boxes, marshalling cabinets etc to control system(DCS) termination panels and produce cable routing plans
- Design using data base management programs(Intools, Autoplant etc),to produce deliverables such as :
· Develop P&ID according to client requirements
· Instrument Index
· Data Sheets
· Loop drawings
· Control Schematic Diagrams
· Inter connecting wiring diagrams
· Termination Diagrams
· Junction box details
· Cable Schedules
· Instrument Installation Drawings
· Relay and PLC based control and monitoring system
· Prepare General Arrangement Drawings
· Prepare request for quotation (Specs and bid analysis) for field instruments
Qualifications:
- A diploma with 5 years of experience of design and drafting
- Proficient in use of Auto Cad System
- Data base management skills (Intools ,MS Access)preferable
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes
Additional Details:
- This position is initially paid on a contract basis with opportunity for a permanent staff position.
