Description:
Our client is a young and dynamic environmental consulting company. This position requires a high degree of quality and leadership a demanding consultative environment.
The incumbent will be expected to manage, plan and implement multi-team and multi-disciplinary environmental programs and interact with peers and clients. A thorough understanding of the Alberta and federal regulatory framework is required.
Position Requirements:
- Related University Degree such as B.Sc. Civil Engineer, Geology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
- 7 to 12 years practical experience in the execution and management of site environmental assessments, remediation, transport modeling, regional hydrogeologic investigations and environmental impact assessment compilation, interpretation and report preparation.
- Professional membership with either APEGGA or AIA or eligible for membership.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (E.I.A.)
- Environmental Contamination Specialization.
- Responsibilities will include client liaison, project management, report writing/review, field work, business development and quality assurance and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership and mentoring role and manage teams of environmental professional.
- Ability to handle Environmental Emergencies.
- Responsible for managing large client portfolios and required excellent organizational and communication skills.
