Job Description
- [Employer] is seeking experienced Piping and Layout Engineers/Specialists to join our International Projects Team.
- These Individuals charged with aiding in the overall piping design and layout by working with both engineers and drafting.
- Duties include generating the technical details of all the piping such as material selection, code and regulation compliance, pipe sizing, hydraulic modeling and stress analysis, and reviewing Bill of Materials for purchase as well as providing direction to drafting to define piping corridors, optimize equipment and piping layouts, to insure all piping is properly supported and efficiently routed to minimize materials of construction and maximize the ease of construction/installation.
Requirements
Position requires a BS degree (ME preferred), minimum 5 years industry experience in this field, 10 years solid technical work experience in engineering design and/or project management in offshore oil and gas platforms.
