Job Description
Flint Energy Services Ltd. is currently seeking an enthusiastic indidvidual for the full-time position of Purchasing Agent located in Sherwood Park, AB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Supporting the daily procurement requirements of the project
· Expediting and administration of materials.
· Coordinating and standardizing purchasing activities ensuring compliance to project control protocols and Flint Infrastructure policies and procedures.
· Facilitating RFQ process with Flint and Client Suppliers of Choice.
· Tracking and reporting.
· Working with Accounts Payable to resolve vender payment issues.
· Working with the Materials Department to ensure accuracy and completeness of PO’s.
· Developing and maintaining business relationships with outside vendors.
The following skills and qualifications are required:
· High school diploma required, along with Post Secondary education; PMAC in progress or completion is considered an asset.
· Proven proficiency in Major Oil and Gas projects.
· Strong understanding of purchasing fundamentals
· Demonstrated experience with Materials and Procurement software systems is considered an asset.
· Investment recovery knowledge an asset.
· 4-8 years proven proficiency in an industrial maintenance and or construction service contractor materials supply role.
· MS Office proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
