· You will manage the analysis and design of information systems business solutions in support of the organization's objectives.
· You will manage a portfolio of initiatives focused on the introduction of technologies and automated solutions directed at delivering improved business processes and information for competitive advantage and improved services. Therefore, the ability to achieve demanding process re-engineering and financial performance measures set by senior management must be complemented with a strong business acumen and value-added mindset.
· You will develop and maintain relationships with other managers within the organization to acquire a sense of changing technology needs and understand their business.
· Duties will also include the development of new systems based solutions that enhance the strategic goals of the organization utilizing existing or new technology assets.
· Developing, implementing and enforcing the department's Systems framework and methodology following industry standards, as well as preparing and reviewing process maps, business requirements, business cases, statements of work, functional requirements, specification documents and plans, and status reports.
· Coaching and coordinating the work (assign work and assess the performance) of Business and Systems Analysts, preparing presentations, delivering training, collaborating on design decisions, overseeing payments and project costs, and coordinating the general organizational work of the projects, including documentation, are a critical part of this role. The position also requires interviewing, communicating, and consulting with subject matter experts and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Must have 10+ years of experience in managing a major IT organization's responsibilities.
· Must have 5+ years in an IT management position directing development projects (leading teams of 5+ direct reports).
· Must have prior implementation experience with industry process methodologies, such as CMMI, IDEAL, Lean, and Six Sigma.
· Must have prior development experience with BPR and/or Web-based solution projects.
· Must have knowledge in process mapping and business process re-engineering applied to IT-enabled business transformation projects.
· In-depth knowledge of project management methodology is essential; PMP certification is an asset.
· In-depth knowledge of ITIL Framework is essential; ITIL Practitioner certification is an asset.
· Must have experience in developing process maps, business requirements, business cases, project charters, executive summary reports, and statement of work (scope definition) documents.
· Proven experience with contract administration, vendor management, and management of end-users and customers during project life cycles.
· Must have experience in preparing requests for proposals, budgets, project schedules, information system testing scripts, migration and implementation plans, and training materials.
· Knowledge of principles of System Architecture and Information Security & Audit.
· Proficiency with MS-Project, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Visio.
· Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts in a variety of contexts.
· Excellent writing and presentation skills.
