Job Description
- Lead and drive daily support for Data processing and Analysis production queries in NA by liaising daily with Global Data Control (UK) and the Magnetic Technical Leader. (Primary focus with will be Magnetics).
- Ensure all analysis data is available and secure throughout the data analysis process. Provide a unified service to the Global Analysis teams by maintaining the throughput and integrity of raw and analyzed data in both on-line and off-line folders.
- Monitor the status of Magnetic data stores (CDS) both locally and remotely whilst maintaining Analysis backup, restore and archive systems.
- Own and perform Inter-Regional data transfers for Data Analysis in NA. Ensuring tight communication is maintained between regions and personnel throughout the transfer task while maintaining the integrity of the data at each point.
- Act as regional expert for all Analysis data handling (processed & analyzed), Centralized Data Storage and Data Transfer issues both locally and globally to support the Data Control network.
- As needed, perform Data Processing steps for new Inspection data arriving into the Analysis Centre. Including tape logging, parameter checking and confirmation, setup of new project and completion of Data Control documentation.
- Act as primary link, for the NA region, between Data Analysis & IM. Hardware and Software inventory for all Analysis equipment in the NA region.
- Apply process change and develop new techniques and procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Be flexible and provide support for the general Analysis team as required.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering / Science or 3+ years of work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an ILI technical discipline and / or significant experience (3+ years) of IM data management and high volume data handling.
