Our client is linked with some of the largest mining companies in the industry and therefore has the resources and career progression capabilities to really develop your skills and accelerate your career. This standout organisation is a major commodity producer who operate two significant processing plants at this leading project, is seeking a Plant Metallurgist to join their team in Western Australia. This role will allow you to diversify your skill set and plan your career into the future, whilst allowing you maintain contact with your family on a daily basis!
You will report to the Senior Plant Metallurgist to:
· Provide technical support to the metallurgical and project development teams
· Identifying problems in the metallurgical circuit and developing sustainable corrective measures
· Identify and implement improvement measures to promote the performance of the plant
· Mentoring and supporting production staff
You will be required to draw upon your metallurgical experience and strong technical knowledge to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in metallurgy or chemical engineering, extensive experience in production or project metallurgy and technical expertise in flotation and/or leaching will be highly regarded.
